And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied. Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. When the brethren found out, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him out to Tarsus. And he spoke boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus and disputed against the Hellenists, but they attempted to kill him. So he was with them at Jerusalem, coming in and going out. And he declared to them how he had seen the Lord on the road, and that He had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus. But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. And when Saul had come to Jerusalem, he tried to join the disciples but they were all afraid of him, and did not believe that he was a disciple. Then the disciples took him by night and let him down through the wall in a large basket. And they watched the gates day and night, to kill him. Now after many days were past, the Jews plotted to kill him. The Acts of our fathers the apostles, may their blessings be with us. The world passes away, and its desires but he who does the will of God abides forever. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.ĭo not love the world or the things in the world. And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son.

Catholic EpistleĪ Reading from the 1 Epistle of St. The grace of God the Father be with you all. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Amenįor the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. A reading from the Epistle of our teacher Paul to the Romans. Paul, the servant of our Lord Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, appointed to the Gospel of God. Then He sent him away to his house, saying, "Neither go into the town, nor tell anyone in the town." And he was restored and saw everyone clearly. And he looked up and said, "I see men like trees, walking." Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything. So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. Then He came to Bethsaida and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch him. Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises! For God is the King of all the earth Sing praises with understanding. And Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. They arrived before them and came together to Him. But the multitudes saw them departing, and many knew Him and ran there on foot from all the cities. So they departed to a deserted place in the boat by themselves. And He said to them, "Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while."For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat. Then the apostles gathered to Jesus and told Him all things, both what they had done and what they had taught. Our Lord God, Savior, and King of us all, Jesus Christ, the Living Son of God to whom be glory forever.
